Using public health approaches and strategies, the Office of Health Promotion contributes to a culture of well-being at UMBC by providing evidence-informed education, resources, skills, and support that are responsive to the needs of our community. We help foster a campus community that supports and empowers individuals to make healthy lifestyle choices at UMBC and beyond.
This site will assist you in finding well-being resources, health promotion events, and a form for requesting Peer Health Educator workshops.

Incoming students, please take a moment and make sure all health-related requirements are submitted and all courses are completed. As you prepare for your arrival at UMBC, there are some health-related requirements that you must meet before you arrive on campus. All new students must complete the required prevention courses.
