Brittany Goetsch

Director

Brittany Goetsch, MA, MPH.  Brittany has worked in public health for over 10 years, most recently at The Center for Communication Programs at Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she focused on sexual and reproductive health in a global context, knowledge management, and youth partnership. A former Peace Corps Volunteer in Peru, she has also worked at the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy (now Power to Decide), served as a board member of Pro Choice Maryland, and volunteered at the Johns Hopkins Harriet Lane Clinic. She continues her volunteer work as a volunteer coordinator with Thread, Inc. in Baltimore City.

She has a BA in Political Science from American University, and an MPH in Global Health, Program Design, Monitoring, and Evaluation and a MA in Latin American and Hemispheric Studies from George Washington University.

Tiffani McGronan

Health Educator

Tiffani joined the UMBC community in 2024. Prior to UMBC, she worked with the Johns Hopkins Cancer Center in The Office of Community Outreach and Engagement. She serves as a health educator within the Office of Health Promotion. Her areas of interest include physical activity, reproductive health, and disease prevention. Tiffani has her M.S. in Health Education from Texas A&M University and a B.S. in Exercise and Sport Science from The University of Alabama.

Terjahna Richards

Terjahna Richards, graduate assistant, is dedicated to cultivating a healthier campus environment. She assists in everything from leading graduate student initiatives, facilitating workshops and events, and designing campus-wide health-related events and campaigns. She brings fresh ideas and student-focused energy to our goal of promoting healthy behaviors across the UMBC campus.
