Welcome

Using public health approaches and strategies, the Office of Health Promotion contributes to a culture of well-being at UMBC by providing evidence-informed education, resources, skills, and support that are responsive to the needs of our community. We help foster a campus community that supports and empowers individuals to make healthy lifestyle choices at UMBC and beyond.

This site will assist you in finding well-being resources, health promotion events, and a form for requesting Peer Health Educator workshops.

Required Prevention Courses

Incoming students, please take a moment and make sure all health-related requirements are submitted and all courses are completed. As you prepare for your arrival at UMBC, there are some health-related requirements that you must meet before you arrive on campus. All new students must complete the required prevention courses. Courses open July 12, 2024.

We’re here to help! Please send questions to ohp@umbc.edu
